PrizeProof Verified

Badges are database facts, not marketing. Every claim you see on a competition traces back to a specific, dated record — never a copywriter's judgement call.

Verified

Principle

If you see the badge, we can show you why

The PrizeProof Verified badge and every claim beneath it render only when a real verification_claims record exists for that prize. There is no 'trust us' version — the underlying record, its date, and who granted it are all there to inspect.

The taxonomy

What each claim means

Prize verified

The prize itself has been checked against its description before the competition went live.

Owner verified

PrizeProof has confirmed who legally owns the prize being offered.

Asset inspected

The physical item has been inspected — not just described — by PrizeProof or an appointed inspector.

Finance checked

Any outstanding finance or encumbrance on the asset has been checked and declared.

Valuation recorded

An independent or documented valuation has been recorded for this prize.

Prize secured

The prize is secured — in PrizeProof's control or contractually committed — ahead of the draw.

Free entry included

This competition includes a genuine free postal entry route, on the same terms as paid entries.

Fulfilment tracked

Delivery or handover to the winner is tracked and recorded end to end.

Draws

Verification doesn't stop at the prize

The same principle applies to the draw itself: a commitment published before entries open, an immutable entry snapshot at close, and a result drawn from public randomness — every input published for anyone to recompute.
