Guide
How it works
Two ways to enter, one ticket pool, one draw. Here is exactly what happens from entry to winner.
Entering
Two equal routes to the same draw
Paying for entries and posting a free entry are treated identically — same pool, same draw, same odds. Neither route is presented as the 'real' way to enter.
Paid entry route
- 1
Choose your competition
Browse live competitions. Every prize listing shows its verification status, entry price, and the number of entries remaining.
- 2
Pick your quantity and pay
Choose how many entries you want, up to the per-person limit for that competition, and pay securely at checkout.
- 3
Receive your ticket numbers
Your tickets are allocated immediately from the same sequential pool used for free entries — there is no separate paid pool.
Free entry route
- 1
Read the competition's instructions
Every competition page has a Free Entry Route section with exactly what to send and where — see also our general free entry guidance.
- 2
Post your entry
Write your entry on plain paper with the required details and post it to the published address, free of charge, before the competition closes.
- 3
Receive the same ticket number
Accepted free entries are allocated a ticket number from exactly the same pool as paid entries, with no disadvantage in the draw.
Verification
A draw you can check yourself
Before any competition opens, we publish a cryptographic commitment to the secret we'll use in the draw. After close, the entry pool is frozen and the draw uses public randomness from the drand beacon — every input is published so the result can be independently recomputed.
Winning
The winner process
Result published
The winning ticket, the entry pool and every draw input are published immediately, verifiable by anyone.
Winner verified
We contact the winner and carry out identity and eligibility checks before any prize is released.
Prize fulfilled
Delivery or handover is arranged and tracked. Consenting winners may be featured on our winners page.
